Can Footsteps and Wind Replace a Soundtrack?
Stretch (English Trial Version) » Devlog

In Stretch, we replaced music with noise.
And by “noise,” we don’t mean it in a bad way. We mean everyday noise.
The sound of trees in the park, the sound of traffic lights at an intersection.
The sound of chalk clinking in the classroom, or a cat purring in the background.
Why? Because we believe that stories don’t necessarily need music.
Stories just need presence, atmosphere, and sounds that tell you that this is real before any words are spoken.
We know it’s a risk. Some people might find it too quiet.
But we also think: If you’ve ever been soothed by the sound of rain on a roof… maybe this game is for you.
