The Summer of Nurihei – Watercolors, Somen, and Sudden Drama

Ah, summer. Shaved ice, art explosions, and… an emotional roadside showdown?

In Stretch, third-grader Nurihei bravely steps out of his loneliness and into a world of messy friendships, DIY art studios, and outdoor chaos. Everything seems too good to be true, whether he’s splattering paint like a young Van Gogh or hand-twirling shaved ice like a seasoned festival stall owner.

Until an unexpected event brings the harsh reality of the world to heart. But with an unexpected boost (thanks to Juri, the MVP of this scene!), the boys weather the heat, both meteorologically and mentally.

We’re done with the summer episodes, and honestly, I miss them already.
