How We Built the Stretch Club

The heart of Stretch is the Stretch Club—a group of awkward misfits who turn basic stretches into life-or-death debates. We didn’t want sports stars or elite athletes. We wanted people who take something mundane and overcommit to it with full emotional force.

Each club member brings their own weird intensity to the group, and watching their personalities clash (and sometimes harmonize) is a big part of what gives the game its charm. No one’s good at stretching. But they’re all really into it.
