Why Make a Game About Stretching, Anyway?
Stretch - English Version » Devlog

When we started working on Stretch, we didn’t set out to revolutionize fitness games—or parody them. It just happened. A visual novel where characters argue about hamstring tension and form a high school “Stretch Club” might sound absurd, but that’s exactly the point.
In the world of Stretch, seriousness and stupidity coexist. It’s not a joke game. But it’s also not not a joke game. And that balance is what makes it interesting to write—and hopefully to play.
